The Modern Flashbacks are back! Originally formed in 1990, The Modern Flashbacks are a 4-piece vocal/instrumental band performing classic popular 60's - 70's rock, blues and pop hits from America and the British Invasion. Combined with a large repertoire of familiar dance material and heavily rehearsed arrangements, they are able to carry any sized room, venue or crowd, from intimate clubs and private parties to corporate events, weddings and outdoor festivals.

Stephen Shareaux (Vocals) has been fronting rock bands since the 1990's, including RCA recording artists Kik Tracee. In 2008 he starred as Jimmy in the Southern California theatrical production of The Who's QUADROPHENIA. He has toured throughout the United States.

Joel Pelletier (Bass, Keyboards, Vocals) An over 25 year Los Angeles music-scene veteran and founding member of The Modern Flashbacks, Joel has fronted and performed with numerous cover and original bands (including tribute bands, performing as bassist John Entwistle, and currently in Led Zeppelin tribute ZEPPELIN LIVE as John Paul Jones, as well as keyboardist/vocalist in Journey tribute band JOURNEY UNAUTHORIZED). He holds a degree in music from Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, CT.

Garrett Griffin (Guitar, Vocals) Garrett has performed, recorded, and toured throughout the United States with various Pop and Rock groups. His first band the Altar Boys later changed their name to Con 800 and then became the well known Pennywise. He has recorded for SST records (Black Flag's label). He has also recorded with rappers Rodney O and Joe Coolly.

Mike Pochepan (Drums, Vocals), Mike started on a drum kit at 5 yrs of age, playing to recordings of famous drummers including Buddy Rich and Danny Seraphine (Chicago). Writing originals and playing in cover bands from 1985 to 2002, he toured the Southeast US in various bands including "Radman and the Instigators" opening for the Atlanta Rhythm Section, "Drivin Miss Crazy" opening up for Quiet Riot, and "Jeniphoria." Since moving to Los Angeles he has performed in numerous cover and original bands.

The Modern Flashbacks have a large repertoire of material, and perform up to 3 sets nightly. Audiences regularly complement their unique songlist, and the band constantly hears the phrase "I love that song, and I've NEVER heard a band play it live!"
